About me …

Not to toot my own horn, but in second grade, I won a Young Authors award for writing and illustrating my own book.

Creativity finds itself in many different ways. As with any other young girl, I always wanted to have my nails done but could never afford it. So, I spent hours recreating looks from a nail art book my mother got me. By eighth grade, I had taught myself to cut men’s hair, and by junior year of high school, I competed at the state level for nail art. Senior year, I gained not only my high school diploma but also my cosmetology license.

Creativity and critical thinking flow out of me naturally. Senior year of high school, teaming up with my mom, we created a Thai cuisine business. Together, we crafted a business plan and dove into marketing strategies. I took it upon myself to start up all our social media and advertising. I didn’t think much about typography or hierarchies but focused on what looked good to me. It was then that I learned, wait... I can do this. Proof of this is the growth of our business, which allowed my mom to quit her full-time job and chase her dreams.

Merge these life experiences, and you get me – a creative thinker with an unconventional perspective and a diverse set of insights to offer to any undertaking.
